Bank Guarantees (BG)

A guarantee is issued from a bank ensuring that the liabilities of a debtor will be met. If the debtor fails to settle a debt, the bank will pay it.

  • Institutions and private clients can obtain US $1,000,000.00 (One Million) to $500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million). Issuing banks will submit bank guarantees directly to clients or forward the guarantees to the beneficiary banks who will monetize the amount at 75% to 95% net to clients.
  • Clients will be fully monetized between a minimum of 90 days and maximum of 120 days.
  • Clients should have all the necessary documents ready for granting a bank guarantee.
  • Bank guarantees also require ready, willing and able letters (RWA) from the issuing banks, confirming that the bank is willing to submit a MT760/MT799 fund released on behalf of the client.

You will need:

  • A copy of a bank statement showing a clear account balance of fees in dollars, euros or British pounds,
  • Individual or director’s passport copies,
  • Corporate Registration and resolution details,
  • A copy of the bid documentation/private, governmental or commercial contract/ public or private purchase agreement,
  • Other documents specified by the internal procedures of the bank,
  • Documents concerning security.

Security for payment under the guarantee may be as follows:

  • Money coverage equivalent to 100% of the guarantee amount,
  • Property rights to the deposit of the company or legal person,
  • Collateral such as estate property, equipment, commodities or other acceptable guarantees,
  • A combined type of security from the variants listed above,
  • Clients may email us confirming they have read, reviewed, understand the procedures and wish to obtain the guarantee. Upon receipt of the bank guarantee, the issuing bank will release the funds to the bank,
  • The fees for the bank instruments and alternative solutions are between 6% - 22%.
